Caregiver Pilot Program

The New caregiver programs will provide Home Child Care Providers (NOC 44100) and the Home Support Workers (NOC 44101) with permanent residence (PR) on arrival in Canada.

This new pathway means that caregivers can more easily find proper work with reliable employers and have clear, straightforward access to permanent resident status as soon as they arrive in Canada.

* This information is based on the previous pilot program and the announcement regarding the new program. The new program is yet to be released, and the actual requirement may change once the new program comes into effect.
